Unlocking Sustainability For Abundant Life

The R-O2 Project - was born out of CREATIVenergie, a non-profit organization specializing in energy access and innovating solutions for low resource settings. At the core of CREATIVenergie was the conviction that the way we live in relation to one another and the planet has a direct connection to the quality of life that we enjoy. Put plainly, sustainable living that is in balance and harmony with the world, it's inhabitants, ecology, natural systems and resources, unlocks true abundance. Resilient Oxygen shares this same DNA.

Our Work

Resilient Oxygen and our sister organisation CREATIVenergie have extensive experience around the world in innovating sustainable energy solutions for low resource settings. It all began in a small village in Central Ghana in 2007 with a small Biogas plant connected to a school. The vision was to supply a community with a renewable energy source that could replace firewood as the primary fuel for cooking and heating, thereby dramatically reducing indoor air pollution - which is estimated to be responsible for the premature deaths of up to 4 million people annually (WHO, 2018) - as well as reclaiming hours of back breaking labour spent searching for firewood, a task typically undertaken by women and children.

Since 2007 our work has expanded into Tanzania, Kenya and the Philippines and grown to incorporate Solar solutions with the same guiding principles: that a community can unlock the potential of their own context by living in a balanced and sustainable relationship with the world, it's people and it's ecosystems and in so doing, create an abundance that is shared by all.

Resilient Oxygen, as a company, shares this same principle and asks how a business can re-imagine it's relationship to the world and all its inhabitants by valuing all forms of capital, whether it be human, natural, social or financial, in order to create abundance for all.

Resilient Oxygen is about partnership, inter-dependence and purity as we innovate towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.
